Featuring 81 bunkers that are not too deep but quite visible, the course is both challenging and enjoyable. It’s not too long either, except a few holes such as 5 and 15. It also features a beautiful 420-meter Par-4 in slight dogleg, black holes with elevated teeing ground, a stunning view of the Koutoubia mosque and the clubhouse. Montgomerie says that these are hazards that inflict a moderate sanction; the fairways should be large and just but the rough should reflect its name for the precision to be rewarding.
