We are delighted to announce the official launch of the Anthology of Moroccan Andalusian Music, Al ‘Ala, a unique initiative unveiled at the Prestigia Anfa Real Estate Gallery in Casablanca. This ambitious project celebrates and preserves a cornerstone of Morocco’s intangible cultural heritage.

A Heritage Revitalized
This anthology includes over 130 hours of recordings, accompanied by a dual transcription in Arabic and universal transliteration, making this art form accessible worldwide. An interactive application enables the synchronization of lyrics and musical notes during playback, bridging the gap between tradition and technology.
A Collaborative Achievement
This project, the culmination of three years of dedicated effort, is a collaboration between the AAMAM and Anas Sefrioui, a passionate advocate for cultural preservation. Together, they have worked to promote this ancestral art, aiming to pass it on to future generations and support its international recognition by UNESCO.
Universal Accessibility
The Anthology features complete transcriptions across 6,000 pages, catering to amateurs, professionals, and enthusiasts. It includes the 11 nawbas, rare pieces, and works reinterpreted by Morocco’s leading artists, showcasing the diversity of Al ‘Ala.
